If Spec-Op is the best improvement, then that proves they aren't really even trying anymore. That, or they just aren't good anymore since the real IW left with West and Zampella.
The founders of IW split from Activision(West and Zampella). They took a lot of the best programmers with them too. It really isn't Infinity Ward anymore. It's only IW by name.

I really don't know why people are thinking this is such a great deal or new technology. If it displayed two separate images that were BOTH in 3D, then I'd be amazed. Also, for $500, I expect more than a 24" screen. That's smaller than my computer screen for cryin out loud. Get rid of the game and HDMI cable, and increase the size to 32" and then we're talking.

The new controller is a standard controller. It has shoulder buttons, two sticks, face buttons, etc. You don't have to use the touch screen, motion control, cam, or mic on it.
But the whole point of the new console IS the new controller. That's why they didn't even show the console during the E3 presentation.

Has anyone released a video that shows the people playing it so we can see this 1:1 swordplay they talked about last year? For all I know, he could be mashing buttons. I have yet to see one video show the people playing it.
I won't say they're shitty devs, but they certainly aren't taking any risks or being creative. I get tired of the same thing over and over- especially when they expect us to pay $60+ for it.

I'm pretty sure the squad leader in BC2 could issue commands but they were VERY basic. Like, 'Go here' type of deal where it would put an icon.

With the suppression effect, it has nothing to do with the person shooting the LMG. If you're shooting the LMG, the people you are shooting at will experience the blurring...
They'd better be able to. They already killed the Commander in BF3 so there needs to be some sort of way to coordinate the different squads.

I really don't know why this would cost more than $300. The tech they said would be on par with Xbox, which the manufacturing costs for that are dirt cheap now, let alone in 2012. The only expensive tech in the thing would be the controller screen but it's only a single touch display- not multi touch like other tablets and such. It did look better graphically, but yes, you are right about gameplay and that has me really concerned. I didn't like BC2. I sure hope they do more than just the 2 game types too(I don't count TDM- lame). Also, this time, don't do like 3 maps and just split them up differently and try to pass them off as 10 different maps like they did in BC2.
Probably the biggest surprise game of E3 for me. I thought it was only for PS3 too. It's great that I can use my mouse and kb now that it's on the PC too.
